The Hanselmann Family isn't new to donuts! Jeff, Ayn, and their three teenagers have been managing Captain Jack's Donut Shack at McDougal Orchards in Springvale for several years, having been taught by the Captain himself. The Shack's focus is on hot apple cider donuts made from the Orchard's cider, perfect for a delicious breakfast in Sanford, Maine. Jeff has also been experimenting with and serving some fun flavored donuts whenever time allows. When an opportunity arose to open a year-round mini cake donut shop featuring classic and fun flavors alongside lattes and scratchmade pastries in their hometown, it was too hard to pass by. The donut shop is named after the Hanselmann's newest furry family member, Frannie the Pug, who was adopted in March 2020. Opening in July 2020, the Hanselmanns look forward to sharing the joy of mini donuts and other specialty treats with you!
